Terry Rimmer, MD

Terry Rimmer, MD has served the Oklahoma City community as a family medicine physician for over 10 years.

Dr. Rimmer received his Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Baptist University. He went on to earn his Medical Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma and completed his residency in family medicine at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Prior to founding Direct Primary Care of Oklahoma , Dr. Rimmer worked at SSM St. Anthony in clinical practice and served on leadership committees for patient centered medical homes (PCMH) and primary care expansion initiatives.  Through these leadership experiences, he saw the need to find unique solutions for the healthcare challenges our communities face.

In 2021, Dr. Rimmer opened Direct Primary Care of Oklahoma to provide an alternative healthcare model that better equips individuals and businesses with solutions for cost containment, price transparency, and accessibility in healthcare.

Terry lives in Edmond with his wife Jessica and their three children Myles, Maris, and Margot. They are avid Thunder enthusiasts and love to “keep it local” as much as possible, supporting the great state of Oklahoma.
